Visakhapuja Day
We warmly invite all devotees to join the Visākha Pūjā Day celebration at the temple, commemorating the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and passing away (Parinibbāna) on the full moon day of the 6th lunar month. The programme includes group chanting, meditation, alms-giving ceremony, Dhamma reflection, and candlelit circumambulation around the Buddha Statue.
All are welcome to attend and make merit together.

60th Anniversary Celebration of Buddhapadipa Temple
In 2026, the Buddhapadipa Temple joyfully celebrates its 60th Anniversary, marking six decades of Theravāda Buddhist presence in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1966 as the first Thai Buddhist temple in Britain, the Temple has served as a spiritual home for generations of practitioners and as a bridge between Thai and British communities.
As an affiliated temple, all monks from Wat Phra Sri Sanphet are cordially invited to participate in this significant and historic occasion.

Kathina Robe Offering Loykrathong Fest

We warmly invite all members to attend the Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony at a rented venue from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm, followed by the Loy Krathong Festival with cultural performances and entertainment from 5.00 pm onwards. These events also support fundraising to repay the temple’s loan.
